As a family-owned business, we are passionate about supporting local people and the community around us when we can.

During the extreme weather we’ve experienced of late, it’s not unusual to find cars and housing structures struggling to cope with freezing conditions.

The team at RSPCA Coventry, Nuneaton and District Branch were shocked to discover that their building had taken a real hit from the ‘Beast from the East’ upon arrival at their office on Sunday – a combination of a leaking roof and several burst water pipes had resulted in their electrics being knocked out entirely.

With the severity of the weather an obvious concern, the local community rallied around the charity to try and get their building back on its feet as quickly as possible.

Alongside a couple of generous tradesmen, we were able to provide the charity with five heaters, three dehumidifiers and three air circulation fans free of charge to support the team, the animals and their building whilst the work was carried out.

The team at RSPCA Coventry was overwhelmed with the support and took to social media to express their gratitude. ‘We just want to send out a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that has helped us through today! It is really truly appreciated and it was just an amazing feeling of community spirit!’

It was a great team effort, and we were pleased to be of assistance.

If you find your building suffering in this cold weather, it’s important to keep yourself warm and dry. Plantool have a variety of heaters and dehumidifiers to tackle the cold and damp in the interim whilst you organise the repair of your home.

With numerous branches in the Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire counties with depots open from 7.30am till 5pm, we’re here to support you if you need us in an emergency: https://hirecentres.com/content/6-contact-us
